- With regard to the importance of the spoken word in “Pulp Fiction,” there were so many more examples that we didn’t have time to mention, including: “Say ‘what’ again. Say ‘what’ again, I dare you.” / “In the fifth, your a** goes down. Say it.” / “Do you love me? Say it.”
- Another great “Pulp Fiction” bit: The way we’re introduced to Butch in close-up being told a ‘story’ by Marcellus, and this shot and look is replicated later when the young Butch is hearing Christopher Walken’s story.
