Civilization Oddness

The work of acclaimed Indonesian artist Heri Dono is inspired by the world of cartoons and the ancient tradition of Javanese shadow puppets. Chicago Public Radio’s Michael McManus recently visited Dono at Chicago’s Walsh Gallery, where his latest installations and paintings are on view through October 7.
