A Photographer’s Muse

One of the most influential American photographers of the 20th Century, Harry Callahan is best known for the pictures he took here in Chicago. During six decades of marriage, his wife Eleanor was arguably his most important subject. She was in town recently to see an exhibition of her late husband’s work at the Art Institute, and she spent some time with host Edward Lifson.

Harry Callahan: The Photographer at Work continues through September 24.
