They also reflect on the anniversary of the E2 nightclub disaster and the recent formation of the League of Chicago Music Venues, an organization of club owners concerned with venue safety and security.  The discussion turns to the World Music Festival, and the panel considers whether Chicago has the international reputation it deserves based on the high caliber of festivals it hosts. They also note the success of, and drawbacks to, the South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas.
