This weekend a new exhibition opens at the Art Institute of Chicago. It’s a retrospective of the consummate American painter Edward Hopper. Host Cherie Caswell Dost sits down with Gerry Souter, author of Edward Hopper: Light and Dark. Gerry is an alumni of the Art Insitute of Chicago and, since 1997, has written over twenty books on art and architecture. He brings the eye and the heart of an artist and a writer to his contemplative study of Hopper’s work.
