In-House Guest: Christian Wiman

We’re joined by Poetry magazine editor Christian Wiman. His collection The Long Home won the 1998 Nicholas Roerich Poetry Prize, and his most recent book is Hard Night. Christian’s poems and essays appear widely in anthologies and magazines, including the Atlantic Monthly, Harper’s, Slate, the Threepenny Review, and the New Criterion. He’s also won numerous fellowships and other awards, including a Pushcart Prize and a Gerald Freund Grant from the Whiting Foundation. Christian Wiman is currently working on a book of essays.
