We’re joined by jazz critic John McDonough, who shares some Louis Armstrong and Frank Sinatra tracks we bet you’ve never heard before and that he personally recorded.

John’s a contributing editor of Down Beat magazine, a contributor to the Wall Street Journal’s “Leisure & Arts” section, coeditor of The Encyclopedia of Advertising, and a three-time Grammy nominee for “Best Album Notes.” He also produces historical pieces with Walter Cronkite and Robert Trout for National Public Radio.
