In-House Guest: Joseph Epstein

The best-selling author of Snobbery: The American Version, Chicago writer Joseph Epstein’s most recent book is Friendship: An Exposé (Houghton Mifflin, 2006). Joseph was formerly the editor of The American Scholar, and his essays and short stories have appeared in The New Yorker, Harper’s, The Atlantic Monthly, and other magazines. Joseph Epstein was a lecturer at Northwestern University from 1974 to 2002.
