Next, we discuss two Chicago dance companies, starting with Luna Negra Dance Theater, which performed at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance earlier this month.

The Joffrey Ballet is celebrating its fiftieth season (and it’s tenth season in Chicago)—we hear from Hedy Weiss, dance and theatre critic for the Chicago Sun-Times, and Terry Teachout, New York-based art critic. We also hear some sassy new stories from Nicole Hollander, writer and creator of the comic strip “Sylvia,” and get into the Halloween spirit with Nosferatu, showing soon at Open End Gallery.
