This week in politics, U.S. allies Canada, Mexico and the European Union reacted sharply to new tariffs on steel and aluminum, and North Korean negotiators arrived in New York City and Washington, D.C. to try to jump-start a summit on denuclearization. Also, a Harvard University study tracked 122 men and women released from prison in Massachusetts between 2012 and 2014, and found 42 percent of them had seen someone killed during their childhood.
