Here and Now

June 26, 2018: Hour 1

We start with the Supreme Court upholding the latest version of President Trump's travel ban, which restricts travel from several mainly Muslim countries. Also, Puerto Rico's Center for Investigative Journalism is currently reviewing government documents related to Hurricane Maria deaths, and has found a lot of disparity in what's officially been reported about the death toll. And we hear why the National Audubon Society — one of the country's oldest conservation groups — announced its support for carbon capture technology. Other environmental groups haven't supported carbon capture because it focuses on fossil fuels rather than renewable energy. That and more, in hour one of Here & Now's June 26, 2018 full broadcast.
