Contrary to Trump’s tweets, Fox ad rates are fine

Contrary to Trump’s tweets, Fox ad rates are fine

A quick follow up to yesterday’s story about ad rates and tonight’s Trump-less primary debate. Mr. Trump has been tweeting all day about how the rates Fox is getting for tonight’s event are “dropping like a rock:”

The “debate” tonight will be a total disaster - low ratings with advertisers and advertising rates dropping like a rock. I hate to see this.

Turns out that’s not true. Lie would be another word. The Wall Street Journal and CNN are both reporting Fox’s rates are staying steady at about $200,000 for 30 seconds.
