What to see

Renegade Craft Fair - Explore the works of more than 400 artists at the 17th annual Renegade Craft Fair in Wicker Park.

50th annual 26th Street Mexican Independence Parade - Celebrate Mexican Independence Day with floats, mariachi bands and dancing in the streets of Little Village. 

Unlikely Pairings at Gallery Studio Oh - Attend the opening reception on Friday, from 6-9 p.m., at the gallery in Ravenswood, 4839 N. Damen Ave. The exhibition runs through Sept. 27.

What to hear

A Celebration of Black Composers & Dance - Discover the music of unsung black composers combined with modern dance at this performance on Friday night, from 6-7 p.m., at Sherman Park. Free and all ages welcome. 

Meek Mill, Meghan Trainor and Rapsody - These three recording artists will perform in a free pregame concert on Thursday in Chicago’s Grant Park, before the Bears face off against the Green Bay Packers. Gates open at noon and access to the viewing areas will be first come, first served.
