A Traveling Art Show Gives Platform To Artists Of Color

A traveling art show returning to the area is showcasing work by a who’s who of Chicago artists. The Harlem Fine Arts Show is, in its ninth year, highlighting art across the African diaspora by 60 artists.

This year’s theme focuses on the “healing power of art” and will be exploring the correlations between art and wellness. Morning Shift talks to Dion Clarke, founder of the Harlem Fine Arts Show, about the inspiration behind the traveling exhibition.
