Open enrollment for Obamacare plans began Wednesday, and now healthcare shoppers in Illinois will be able to browse insurance plans both on and off the exchange in the same place: Get Covered Illinois. The inclusive move isn’t the only change during Open Enrollment; expanded customer service hours, cut budgets and slashed enrollment days are also in the mix. But despite the slew of changes and the complicated process of shopping and choosing health care coverage — don’t be put off.
