Adolfo Davis is now waiting to find out his new sentence for a crime committed decades ago when he was 14. Davis was given life without parole - the sentence was mandatory back then for crimes like the double murder Davis was part of. The U.S. Supreme Court has since ruled mandatory life without parole for juveniles is unconstitutional - so Davis and some 80 others in Illinois are getting new sentencing hearings. Yesterday, defense lawyers and an assistant Cook County state’s attorney argued widely different views about what should happen to him now. We hear the latest from both sides. (Flickr/derekskey)
