Archdiocese of Chicago reveal more documents of abusive clergy members
Months after it revealed it had concealed the sexual abuse of children by priests for decades, the Archdiocese of Chicago plans to release files Thursday on about three dozen more abusive clergy members. The archdiocese made public the files on 30 abusive priests in January, and it plans to post the files on 35 more on its website at nine this morning. Barbara Blaine, founder of The Survivors Network of Those Abused by Priests, joins us with more on what this means for victims of abuse. We also hear from Jan Slattery, Director of the Office for the Protection of Children and Youth in the Archdiocese of Chicago.
