Columbia University is the latest institution to throw their hat in the ring for claims for Obama’s presidential library after his presidency ends. There have also been talks for it to be in his childhood state of Hawaii, and of course, here in Chicago where the President worked as a community organizer, lawyer and law professor. Former Chicagoan and architect Michael Sorkin has proposed a plan for the library in Chicago’s Woodlawn neighborhood.
