Army Private Chris Munoz recently filed a “conscientious objector” application as before his deployment to Afghanistan. The military is reviewing the case. Munoz is working with a group that specializes in aiding servicemembers through the conscientious objector application process. Maria Santelli from Center on Conscience and War explains what prompts those voluntary enlist to have a change of heart.
