For over four decades, Fred Frith has been pushing the boundaries of music and our notions of what the electric guitar should-and could-sound like. In the late ’70s he moved from England to New York, where he quickly became an important member of the “Downtown Scene” that included the likes of John Zorn, Bill Laswell, Tom Cora and others.
