Next, as Carbondale becomes the latest city in Illinois to sign a moratorium on fracking, the debate over the controversial method of extracting natural gas from the earth continues to heat up. But, some environmentalists are claiming that fracking is our best hope for a bridge to real, sustainable environmental policy. The Morning Shift dives into the debate with Bryan Walsh, a senior editor at Time International, and David Dana, a law professor at Northwestern University.
