A bankruptcy trial in Florida has been dogging Republican gubernatorial candidate Bruce Rauner on the campaign trail. His longtime investment firm launched a nursing home chain that’s at the center of wrongful death allegations. Prosecutors say Rauner’s firm participated in fraud to avoid liability in those deaths, but Rauner is not named as a defendant. Will the trial continue to follow the candidate?
