CHA ordinance comes in front of city council again

A group of alderman plan to re-introduce an ordinance known as “Keeping the Promise.” It would give more than 12,000 additional families in Chicago access to affordable housing as well as strengthen the Council’s oversight of how the Chicago Housing Authority spends its money. Here to discuss the ordinance are organizer J.L. Gross, who’s stepped out of the City Hall press conference kicking off now to talk with us, and WBEZ Southside Bureau Reporter Natalie Moore, who joins in studio.
