Projects to bring fresh produce and urban farms to the city’s neediest areas have met with mixed success. Some projects have gained traction while others have withered on the vine. Ken Dunn of City Farm runs a few of the only urban farms here that operate solely on earned income. And DJ Cavem travels the nation urging urban youth to start growing their own organic produce now.
