Chicago Board of Education gets community disapproval
The Chicago Board of Education sat through its monthly tongue-lashing yesterday. Parents, kids and teachers from all corners of the city seem to be upset with the city school district. Even people in the most affluent areas who attend or send their children to the best public schools are upset with how the school board and district has handled some of its recent decision making. WBEZ’s Becky Vevea joins us for a round-up of all the action.
