Chicago Riverwalk Opens With Some New Features

After a frigid winter and a very cool spring, Chicago is kicking off summer with the opening of the Chicago Riverwalk on Monday.

Designed by Chicago architect Carol Ross Barney, the Chicago Riverwalk is an open one-and-a-quarter mile-long path that runs along the south bank of the Chicago River from Lake Shore Drive to Lake Street… and it has a little something for everyone.

The folks at the Riverwalk are ready with a whole slew of events to celebrate summer all season long, starting with a week-long line-up of events that kick off Monday and runs through Sunday, May 19.

GUEST: Michelle Woods, Chicago Riverwalk Project Manager at the Department of Fleet and Facility Management
