Chicago’s theater scene creates its own ‘I can’t breathe’ response

Some of Chicago’s local scene will meet Thursday night to lend their voice to the cause of police and community relations. "We Must Breathe" features performances from area playwrights and poets that confront the unrest stemming from the deaths of Michael Brown, Eric Garner and many others. We hear from some of the artists participating, and talk with Victory Gardens Theater’s Joanie Schultz about why the theater community thinks now is the time to respond to this national movement.
