You’ve heard of Comic-Con, but what about CoffeeCon?

It seems there’s a convention for almost every hobby and interest these days, and for caffeine enthusiasts, the time has come.

Coffee Con started in 2012 in the Chicago suburbs and has since expanded to Los Angeles, Seattle and New York.

This weekend October 27 and 28, it’s back to where it all began in west suburban Warrenville.

Convention-goers are encouraged to try free tastings from more than 40 exhibitors, classes on the best brewing techniques and even panel discussions on the future of the art of coffee.

Morning Shift checks in with the creator of CoffeeCon to talk all things java, including how to grind coffee beans for different types of coffee-brewing techniques.
