Chicago wasn’t the only place voters hit the polls Tuesday. There were municipal races in the collar counties, too. In north suburban Glen Ellyn, candidates were running for positions on the Board of Trustees at the College of DuPage, which has been embroiled in a series of scandals in recent months over financial oversight at the publicly-funded school. Three of those candidates won Tuesday on a platform of reform. One Trustee who backed the “clean slate” candidates was Katherine Hamilton.
