Today it takes the average college graduate nearly 20 years to pay off their student loan debt. As the number of students dealing with post-grad debt continues to grow, Chicago’s Liberty Bank for Savings is working to help combat some of the confusion potential students face when considering their payment options for higher education. Money Smart Week began Monday, and many financial institutions across the country are stepping up too, and offering guidance on spending, saving and other general money issues. Chicago will get involved via a free webinar set to take place tomorrow at 7 p.m. and geared at Chicago area millennials.
