In 2010 master gardener LaManda Joy revived a plot of land at Peterson and Campbell on the site of an old Victory Garden. Today she has almost 800 plots in nine temporary spots across the city. This year she released her book, “Start a Community Food Garden” based on her accumulated knowledge. She is here with us to share that knowledge and take food gardening questions. She’ll also talk about the five year old Peterson Garden Projects annual plant sale fundraiser for the PGP, which starts Friday. (Flickr/cuellar)
