Cook County hosts transit public hearings -

According to a report from Center for Neighborhood Technology earlier this year, one out of 10 Cook County residents live in transit deserts. Those are areas with limited or no access to public transportation. This can especially be a problem in suburbs. Cook County officials are now asking the public to weigh in with ideas and possible solutions on how to offer commuters better options for getting around.
