Daley and Gary Mayor work on future of city

Gary, Indiana, has had its share of tough times throughout the years. Now Former Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley has stepped in to lend his name and clout to the city’s economic future. He’s tapped students at the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy, where he serves as a senior fellow, to offer ideas on how to bring dollars and development back to the Indiana city. Gary mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson gives us an update on this partnership and explains what she’s doing to turn the tide of the city.
