Dante Servin decision

A Chicago police detective acquitted after fatally shooting an African-American woman -Rekia Boyd- says justice was served. But the woman’s supporters say the detective deserved to go to prison. They’re slamming the acquittal yesterday, and the way the case was prosecuted. From our West Side bureau, WBEZ’s Chip Mitchell reports. We also talk to Rekia Boyd’s brother about the decision, and a protester who hit the streets of the West Side last night to raise awareness about police and community relations.(Flickr/Bob Simpson)
