David Bowie Is makes its American debut on Tuesday at the Museum of Contemporary Art. Chicago is the only city to get the show that began at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. The curators scoured the David Bowie Archive to feature the pioneering, experimental performer’s writing, costumes, photos and performances. Visitors can re-live Bowie’s transformation from teenage pop singer to experimental provocateur.
