Demolition set to begin in Marktown

It has stood for nearly a century but come Monday, ten homes in the historic Northwest Indiana neighborhood of Marktown will begin to come down. Oil giant BP is behind the demolition of what some people say is the most unique industrial town anywhere in the U.S. Marktown residents are holding out hope that demolition will be halted. WBEZ’s Michael Puente reports. (Photo: Flickr/demolition Flickr RickWarrenPhotos)
