Comedian and civil rights champion Dick Gregory passed away on Saturday at the age of 84. Gregory was also engaged in everything from politics to health food. The Playboy Club in Chicago was where he got his first big break, and where he ran for mayor against Richard J. Daley in 1967. Reporter, professor, and political analyst Laura Washington interviewed Dick Gregory on a number of occasions, and joins Morning Shift to share stories of a man who made people laugh and think, and who literally put his body on the line for his beliefs.
