Did Hillary Get The Black And Latino Vote? It’s Complicated

A changing demographic in the United States resulted in the most racially and ethnically diverse electorate in history. And while President-elect Donald Trump managed to gain 8 percent of the Black vote and 29 percent of the Latino vote, his campaign rhetoric left many within minority groups shaken, angry, and afraid. 

To hear more about the reaction from both communities, Morning Shift spoke with Jaime Dominguez, a political science and Latino studies professor at Northwestern. Plus, WBEZ reporter Natalie Moore tells us how some in African American community reacted in Chicago’s Southside.
