Chicago’s bike share program is expanding. By doing so, it’s responding to criticism that the Divvy has been catering to the more affluent parts of town. Divvy stations will soon be found near Chicago’s northernmost border in Rogers Park, and as far west as Pulaski Rd. Additionally, Divvy stations will be placed in Oak Park and Evanston. How far can they go? Ron Burke of the Active Transportation Alliance talks about the viability of far-flung bike sharing in and around Chicago.
