When Curious City’s Logan Jaffe and collaborator Zachary Sigelko decided to do a series of Web video vignettes of people talking about their relationship to the Confederate battle flag, they had no idea that what has been a simmering controversy in certain parts of the country would turn into a vigorous boil of a national conversation. But the racially motivated killings in South Carolina last week have done just that.
