Governor Jay Nixon on Wednesday ordered the National Guard to begin leaving the city as tense clashes between police and protesters took on a calmer tone. Attorney General Eric Holder also visited the city to discuss the events that had transpired, and comment on what the protests mean to the rest of the country. NPR’s David Schaper has been covering the story, and he joins us from Ferguson to tell us if things are starting to return to normal.
