Governor delivers State of the State Address

Illinois’ Governor delivers his annual State of the State Address to a joint session of lawmakers. Issues that were mentioned in last year’s speech, such as pension reform and same-sex marriage, won’t be heard this year as legislation has passed the legislature. But some state watchers are expecting the Governor to make calls for an increase on the minimum wage. Illinois Public Radio Statehouse Bureau Chief Amanda Vinicky has a preview of what we can expect to hear. (Photo: Flickr/myoldpostcards)
