Grading Claypool at CTA

Forrest Claypool is leaving his post as President of the Chicago Transit Authority and going to the fifth floor to be Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s Chief of Staff, a job he had before under Mayor Richard M. Daley. He started at the CTA in 2011 and that time included launching the Red Line Extension Project, the Purple and Red Line Modernization Project and the conversion from the Chicago Card to the Ventra Card. Chicago Tribune’s transportation reporter Jon Hilkevitch spent everyday following Claypool’s policies at the agency and he reviews his hits and misses. (Flickr/Zolk)
