House votes on state budget

Members of the Illinois House continue to work on the new state budget; $38 billion in spending is spread across more than 50 separate bills. Minority Leader Jim Durkin (R-Western Springs) said, "We are voting today for an unconstitutional budget, plain and simple". One of the many sticking points for the GOP is money that would come from an extension of the “temporary” income tax increase. Leader Durkin and House Democrat Greg Harris join us live from Springfield with the latest on the budget wranglings. (Photo: Flickr/Teemu008)
