How Illinois Became A Major Player in the Dakota Access Pipeline

A memorandum from President Trump last month helped restart construction on the controversial Dakota Access Pipeline. 

The 1,172-mile pipeline begins in North Dakota and ends in Illinois.

WBEZ’s Monica Eng recently took on a question from a Curious City listener about what exactly Illinois’ role has been in the pipeline. Eng spoke with Morning Shift's Tony Sarabia to discuss what she found.
