How the Affordable Care Act will affect mental health services
Illinois has until January 1 to determine how the Affordable Care Act will help fund services for mental health care clients in the state. Medicaid expansion could allow more clients to receive treatment that they were previously unable to afford, but it could also burden service agencies responsible for providing care.
