Hyperlocal News Site Block Club Chicago Launches

Block Club Chicago, a hyperlocal news service from the former editors of DNAinfo Chicago, went live Wednesday morning. The subscription-based neighborhood news service is working to fill the void in neighborhood news coverage left when DNAinfo shut down in November.

In this interview, Morning Shift checks-in with director of strategy Jen Sabella and editor-in chief Shamus Toomey on the website's first day.
