For the bicentennial of Illinois’ statehood, the Illinois Humanities Council is sending speakers from Chicago out to Cairo, Mattoon and Moline to highlight the state’s rich history. One of these appointed “Road Scholars” is John Wasik. Wasik joined us last year to talk about Nicola Tesla and innovation, and he’s putting that expertise to good use traveling the state highlighting 200 years of world-changing ideas and inventions that came from the Land of Lincoln.

GUEST:

John F. Wasik, author of Lightning Strikes: Timeless Lessons in Creativity from the Life & Work of Nikola Tesla
