Illinois Pot Market Could Soon Rival Those In Colorado, Nevada

Illinois’ marijuana industry could surpass what’s already happening in Western states like Colorado and Nevada by 2023, according to a new report by the Chicago-based cannabis research firm Brightfield Group.

U.S. cannabis sales are expected to reach $22.7 billion, and states in the Midwest and on the East Coast show the greatest potential for long-term growth among companies, according to the study.
