Illinois spots make Nat’l Registry

The National Register of Historic Places has added 2 dozen buildings, districts, and even archaeological sites around Illinois to their list of places they call “worthy of preservation.” Nearly half of them are in and around Chicago. Barbara Wyatt from the Parks Service joins us to highlight some of those spots and talk about the process that takes place in order for something to make it on to the Register. (Flickr/wallyg)
